Five Blessings in My Life

If you’ve been following up with my blog posts, you’ll know that I have decided to start a 30 day writing challenge (challenge provided at the bottom of this post). This is the twelfth post of the 30 from that challenge, all in hopes to get me back into my writing. Wish me luck!

Day 12: Write about five blessings in your life

Although each item on this list has had its ups and downs, I’m glad that I have them in my life. Without these playing different roles in my life, I would probably be a different person, in one way or another.

1. My Family

For teaching me everything that I am, since I was little.

2. My Boyfriend and Our Dogs

Our almost 3-year-journey together.

3. My Education

Growing up in multiple public schools, private school, college, and soon Nursing school.

4. My Friends

The ones I am close to, no longer close to, barely talk, and no longer friends.

5. My Journey

Having lived in many different homes in both New York and Florida.

If you haven’t noticed, this is my first post in about almost 3 months and the last time that I wrote for this writing challenge was about almost 5 months ago. As you can see, I have not made any progress on making this a sort of habit. I’ve been extremely preoccupied with summer classes, so I doubt that I ever will, to be honest. So, instead of trying to write from this 30 writing challenge everyday, I want to use the challenge as a form of something to come back to whenever I get the chance. Since its been a dormant several months, let’s see if I can continue this before the end of this year.

As always, thank you so much for reading, as well as showing interest in my blog! It means a lot to me and I greatly appreciate it. Let me know if there is anything you’d like to comment on in the comment box!

Lots of love,

Mel
